Mediation

Had a mediation meeting yesterday...It went ok...just as suspected we didn't "walk away" with any agreement (other than child support, which I could really care less about!)...

It's when I got home that things turned bad...(taken from FB):

I'm back and the kids just proved his point...that they walk all over me...I feel so disrespected!! :(

I get home and Zac's sleeping (yes, at 5pm, just as I told them NOT to let them do so I could get some sleep tonight). I get right on dinner...of course have to clean the kitchen b/c no one did the dishes from all day (but they sure did dirty a lot of them...Then they ask if a friend (Troy) can come over for the night. I say sure, I'll pick him up after I finish making dinner...

Then Kelly's phone rings...Matt & Jenna want them to go play racquetball...I said No...I could use some help and downtime...I've had a stressful day and they let Zac sleep later than they were told...so they cop attitudes with me...I tell them to arrange it for tomorrow..."but Troy can't go tomorrow"!! Whannny whanny!!

So fine, Matt & jenna can go and get Troy then...why should I go and get him just to have him leave?!

Then Tyler starts in about going to the park...Kelly says she "promised him" if he took a nap he could go to the park...does she not understand the thinking of a 3 year old? He doesn't understand the "IF"....

so I offer to let Tyler play in the mud pit (AKA: our backyard) and then give him a bath...no that's not good enough....
God, I just can't make anyone happy?!?!?!?

Oh yeah, and I failed to mention that they didn't even BOTHER to ask what their fate is....huh....

...I am just so hurt...and I haven't even touched on the hurtful things she said...

It seems Kelly thought that it went bad and we "lost" b/c I was "in a bad mood". I was not in a bad mood, but disappointed when I got home b/c Zac was sleeping at 5pm like I told them NOT to let him do!! I will try to get to my blog sometime today and update the whole story...

****************************the rest of the story***************************

I arrived at 1:30 like scheduled and the opposing attorney wasn't there. Finally the opposing attorney's "partner" showed up....who had not had a chance to review the case...He refused to allow Andrew in the room to be a part of the meeting. Then - after showing up 10 minutes late - informs us that the "original attorney" had an emergency and couldn't be here...and that he needed to leave at 2:30 to make a court appearance "upstairs". The next thing that comes up is that they have not paid their share of the mediator fees...Not Kenny NOR his attorney (the letter specifies that it is to be paid 10 days prior to the meeting!! -- I did my part!)...

So we hashed out the child support first...there is no way I can waive it...which is crap to me! Anyways, not sure how far everyone's been following this but I owe him 5 years of back support at $112 a month (no, really I don't but hey...its not worth arguing with him over) so that at least reduced his child support obligation from $700+ a month to $300+ a month through 2011 when Robert turns 19. After that it will only be Kelly he hs to pay support for (almost $400 a month for her alone)...They squirmed and squiggled and trying to schister me by doing the math wrong as to what I owed in back support...Thankfully I caught on and did the math right and brought it to their attention. Then they were able to reduce his obligation further by changing the financial affidavit to show what I would make if I worked 40 hrs instead of 28 hours a week (a difference of $12 a month on child support...talk about them nickel and diming me!!) -- Like I said it wasn't about the money to me....Since I had no choice but to accept child support, I have asked that it be done by income assignment - that way he doesn't need to write my name on a check nor does he have the availability of bouncing a check to me....

Then they tried to call the meeting closed...I reminded them we still had to discuss parenting time..This is where I started to just get so frustrated b/c Ken seems to think the kids "belong" to him, as if they are possessions and I kept reminding him that "they are actually people, not possessions!!"

He wants the children for the summer. I told him that that may affect Robert's ability to continue with the place he is doing his internship offering him a paid position after high school graduation. Not only that but Robert is on probation through September and KEN would have to follow through and get the paperwork transferred from Colo to Wyoming...which he claims he would do (but he never follows through on anything!!) Besides, Robert is 18 and it's ultimately HIS decision so this was a waste of time....I've worked hard to get Robert enrolled in programs to assist with job training and placement after high school (he is spec ed and qualified for two programs!)...and now because Ken feels Robert is "his"...well he's gonna take all that away and affect his future earning potential.

When it came time to talk about Kelly we got into an argument...Kelly wants nothing to do with him and would rather just let Andrew adopt her and remove her father from her life altogether...she even wants to change her last name!! She doesn't want to go to Wy...away from a potential summer job..away from her friends...away from her siblings...away from the ability to text her friends (her cell phone doesn't work there)...He responds with "well none of us liked our parents at 16"....I told him it's deeper than that and that is between he and his daughter and he needs to make the time to talk directly with her. He kept arguing about how he was "entitled to see his daughter"...I told him that I promised Kelly I would go and advocate for her and be her voice...her voice told me that she wishes to speak directly to the judge herself and that we would just have to leave the mediation meeting "agreeing to disagree" on the issue of Kelly and that the judge could make the determination after he/she speaks with Kelly....

So who knows when that court hearing will be?

Anyhows, I have GOT to finish getting ready to head out the door for the activities of the day...I'm sure I left a thing or two out but anyone reading this gets the gist of what I am saying and what happened...

A trying week ahead of me

Just a taste of what I've been dealing with the last couple of weeks that has kept me from blogging LOL

I have a difficult week ahead of me and can use all the extra help/thoughts/prayers I can get...

I have a sick toddler (Zac)...fever, cough, sounds awful...leaving me sleep deprived as well so that isn't helping the emotional aspects...

Yesterday Robert was at a friends' house. He suddenly stalked in the door and started slamming stuff around...ends up that the 7yo girl (who he is always been very cool with) started to jump on his back..he told her to stop and she didn't...so he smacked her! (her mom is my bff and had spent the night at my house after a loooong girls' night!)...I just don't know what to do to get through to him...he turns 18 in 3 days...the only thing I see getting through to him is jail time...because he's just not getting it...more on that later...

Today my teens come back after spending 18 hours with my ex husband and his parents. They are always very edgy and tense. I don't know what to do for them. Kelly is sick too...sore throat (and we asked her dad not to make her go since her grandpa is dying of a cancerous brain tumor and shouldn't be exposed to any sicknesses), but he refused.

Monday I have to get a blood draw to find out my cortisol levels now that I am not on the prednisone anymore...My pituitary may have been damaged by the pressure on it over the years or by the surgery. If my levels come back low, I will have to have more testing...and probably hormone replacement therapy (my adrenal gland does not appear to be working correctly). We were still hoping to not try/not prevent for #6...now we don't know where we stand on that...we will talk to the dr after the final results come in.

Also Monday I see the neurosurgeon for follow up...last time he didn't even so much as look at me, just asked a couple of questions and rushed out of the room...so I complained...now his bedside manner sucks even more...when I went to the dr last week I found out that the neurosurgeon didn't even have my neurosurgery input into my medical records!! (it will be 11 weeks tomorrow!) He has released me to drive - but I can't turn my head fast without dizziness so I figure driving is probably not a good thing...

Then Tuesday we have to go to court with Robert about his assault charges from when he jumped a girl at school a couple of weeks ago. I am scared he will have this bad attitude he's been having with us and the judge will slap him hard! He keeps playing this "she deserved it" game...we don't know yet if the parents will be pressing charges or asking for restitution (the girl is a pom and he put her in a headlock and punched her in the head a couple of times, then scratched her on the chest to draw blood). He has disabilities and the school psychologist is planning on being there to explain his 'issues' as well as me taking his medical documentations...but still, I don't want him to get off the hook because of his disabilities...then I feel like a bad parent?!

Wednesday Robert turns 18...I am seriously worried that he will get his ass in a sling and end up in jail for hitting someone or acting inappropriately...I just don't know how to get through to him. I've had him in counseling, but he got discharged because he would clam up and sit and draw the whole time...so it was a waste of the counselor's time. Now that he turns 18 everything changes about who he can see (he has to switch to an adult therapist)--and he has trust issues...what am I supposed to do?

Also Wednesday I have to meet with the new special ed director for Harley's school. He was "at the top of her list" when she took over as the director a few weeks ago...she called a special meeting so that she could ask how we best handle his behaviors and aggressiveness...well he has a behavior plan. I asked if she had met him yet...and she responds with once...I told her he is a different kid in person, much happier and joyous than what's on paper...she responds with "not from what I saw"...I guess the school called her out on her first day during one of his behaviors...so I feel that was so totally unfair as her first impression of him was not so good....

Then Thursday I get to do all the follow up on everything else. I still have to schedule Harley's appointments too...he has been having more problems, more seizures (which are creating the behaviors, but they are abscense (sp?) seizures and the school insists he's NOT having them b/c they expect a seizure to be a falling on the floor flailing around...even though he has a health plan that describes exactly what a seizure looks like for him...

So he has to have an MRI and EEG -- but has to be sedated...he has had a brain cyst since he was a baby and they are concerned that it may have grown some and may have to remove it now. (It's at the base of his skull). He's also been going down hill with his physical attributes and has to start on PT and I still have to find an in home OT for him to replace the one who did the illegal restraint on him.

Speaking of that, we are in the process of working with the State Dept of Health on the investigation to see what actions the state may take against her (we are not filing legal charges b/c we don't want to put Harley through the stress of police/court).

Then next week I have to meet with Harley's state caseworker to ensure he still qualifies for the specialized 24/7 line of sight extensive benefits. I have no doubt but that is so hard on me because I have to focus on all the negatives about him during those meetings...I hate having to do that...It always makes me cry!!

I'm sorry this is so long...you are an amazing friend if you made it this far...

*sigh* My day...

It's been crazy busy today...well the last few days...here's a quick over view while I have it all typed up and I may come back and try to update based on this...I also have a few pictures I'd love to upload but it's hard to get computer time the last few days....

IDK how many read on Facebook that Robert got suspended on Wednesday for getting into a fight with a girl at school. We're looking at 3rd degree assault charges from the preliminary investigation...he's just lucky he's still a minor at this point but UGH what a headache!! I don't know what kind of fine or court proceedings we're gonna have to deal with. My Ex (his dad who desserted him by moving to Wy with 2 weeks notice to him in March?)...has a very I don't care attitude so I just had to take the bull by the horns...IDK what we are going to do for getting him more mental health treatment since he turns 18 in 2 weeks and his dad won't put him on his health insurance and we don't go to mediation (or get any idea of possibly SOME child support) until late March...at the earliest.

Got the investigation on the OT abusing Harley a couple of months ago too (well got my copy of the written investigation)...The OT's side of the story is all twisted and full of lies and could've lead to Harley being considered for out of home placement due to 'being a danger to himself and others' but it backfired on her b/c we have so many other therapists and the school working with him ...and she ended up in trouble because he only acted out agressively on her b/c she didn't follow his behavior plan *whew*

Then I have this drama with this woman over the SantaSwap thing and she also removed all my freecycle memberships so I've been dealing with the main office of freecycle trying to get my moderation privileges (and memberships) reinstated. I swear, she is being so damned childish....

THere is so much more going on but that is what I already had typed up so I just C&P'd it here...I will try to keep up better in the coming days and try to catch up with posts and pics!!

*sigh* it's been a looooong Day!!

Last night we had an incident where Harley was mistreated by a therapist...Took 3 hours to calm him down after she left.
Here;s a couple of pictures...I think you can see them?
PhotobucketPhotobucket
This morning started bright and early with pain waking me at 4:30am...Dr has suggested that I now take 2 percocets every 4 hours (vs. one every 4 to 6 hours) after calling him to tell him I needed something a little stronger.

Then the continuing saga of reporting and contact with aforementioned therapist...Robert to the bus....Harley off to the bus...Tyler off to Tricia for school...Zachary's birthday!!

Nine o'clock we had Robert's IEP meeting...he's qualified for special ed services after graduation for job training and placement!! WHAAAHOOO!! He's gonna need it.

Got a letter from my doctor telling me I had to reschedule the mediation...currently scheduled for early January...Now he wants me to reschedule for late Feb or early March! That seems so far away but he feels I won't be able to deal with the stress and fully and correctly heal if I don't put it off that long *sigh* now I just gotta wait for my ex and his attorney to go through the roof and possibly file contempt charges on me?! And of course I have to get notice to the judge as well!?

Back home...trying to respond back to the mediator and the computer just won't cooperate. Made a deal with Andrew I would go and get a laptop today instead of waiting til after Christmas sales. I have TOO many important things going on to have the computer constantly freezing up on me.

Oh yeah...Santa Swap (if you don't know about it, ask me what it is about!)...is being advertised on the radio every hour this weekend...Lindsay is out of town til tomorrow afternoon...That leaves me and possibly "anonymous" to moderate the slam dunk of members and postings we are anticipating...but this is something I am enjoying immensely!!

Tricia gets Tyler home from school and she and I plan to go to Walmart because she had heard of a laptop deal for $299...Just as we are about to walk out the door, Harley's school calls and says to come and get him....he is becoming physically violent and they couldn't calm him down...he was still having 'issues' with the incident from last night...Andrew rushes off to get him. He gets home and we discover the 'incident' from last night left bruises on him! I'm hotter than a hornet!!

Finally Tricia and I get to walmart and the lady claims they can't sell it for that price til tomorrow...not good enough...I can't head out into crowds tomorrow, it was hard enough trying to do it today after going to the IEP meeting...She rang it up and amazingly enough it scanned at the special price!! Whoot!! Laptop purchased and homeward bound.

Get a call from Kelly's school...she's failing Japanese and needs extra help. Not very thrilled with the boyfriend nowadays since he's being a butthead, but you can't tell a 16 year old anything bad about her first "love"...even though everyone including her friends at school are telling her how much he's been treating her like dirt and she deserves better. So who's gonna try to cop a tude with me? At least when I told her I didn't need the attitude from her today she knocked it off...

Oh yeah, Tyler went to the museum with school today...he was so excited he got to see REAL (and BIG) dinosaur bones up close...he wished he could've crawled on them like curious george and turned them into a puzzle...darn it! LOL

We had planned to have cake with Zachary for his real birthday today, but he turned 2 today and seems to know it!! He had a bad case of the terrible twos!! He wanted nothing to do with parties or cake today...Good thing his party is scheduled for Sunday!!

Needless to say I've been a ball of nerves all day...I am ready to take my ambien and resume my sleeping spot (on the couch because I feel like I'm drowning if I sleep in bed...even with the wedge pillows LeeAnna gave me :( ). I miss sleeping next to my husband, but breathing is more important...or is it?

I know there's more that's gone on today and I probably have updates for some of what I wrote above...but I'm too ready to go down for the night so it'll just have to wait til I have some time. It seems I will most likely spend most of the weekend on the computer...on my perch on the couch recuperating from today...

Sleep well everyone...Ambien will relieve me til the pain wakes me up at 4 or so...*(sigh)*

Days are getting crazier and crazier

The closer I come to surgery...so I may start going MIA for long periods of time (as I have been). I schedule my surgery on Friday....I have Andrew taking the necessary steps to reactivate himself as Harley's CNA while I am "out of commission". Thankfully my job is the most wonderful place anyone could work and I have enough sick and vacation time saved to get full paychecks while I am out (assuming I will only need 3 weeks total off work). That will cover my health insurance premiums as well..then Andrew will also be getting paid the full check as well for filling in for me and is taking a leave of absence from work for however long the doctor tells him he needs to be available -- but definitely for the days I'll be in the hospital.

Once Friday rolls around I will be busy contacting people in my family to let them know when and where the surgery will be...amazing how family finally starts to find you when you are in "need" of support?! It's nice though since I'm rarely on any of my boards anymore. I have been battling awful depression and anxiety the closer we get to just the scheduling of the surgery.

I'm under extreme amounts of stress with the surgery looming as it is...then I have my Ex starting some crap over those papers I filed waaay back in August! For the past two days I have been working on my finanical affidavits, which has not been an easy task. It's really cut into my Zac & Mommy time as well!

Now Tyler's got such bad diarrhea tonight that most likely he won't be going to school tomorrow...he wants diaper rash cream and wearing underpants even makes it hurt worse his poor little butt is so sore!!

Zachary's had a verbal explosion this week, not only speaking words, but two syllable words and even a couple of really cool short sentences...He has a good 20 words now and I am super excited!! The speech therapist definitely feels that our mommy & me time help a lot with his verbalizations. I am so so proud of my little man..this week he even started to answer the question of how old are you? (and he responds with 2!! -- Not till December, but I'm gonna let him get away with it!) He's back to working on potty training and I predict by this summer my house will be diaperless! Not sure how I feel about that one!

I failed to come back and tell everyone what a great week Harley's had at school! Monday he had a substitute para and started full time on Tuesday...both Tuesday and Wednesday I got reports of him having an "awesome and productive" day!! I am so proud of him too!

My ex called and decided he wanted to spend the weekend with the kids. Robert leaves for his field trip on Sunday at 6:45 AM and is stressing out that his dad won't get him there in time for the motor coach...Kelly is stressing because she doesn't even want to acknowledge her dad, no less spend a whole weekend with him so she is plotting how she can get HIM to disown HER over the weekend. I think it's a bad idea, but she keeps telling me that she's old enough to make her own decisions and I cannot stop her.

Andrew is stressing out about my surgery date also! We're upping his meds in the next couple of days...I'm hoping the leave of absence from work really helps him to destress some, although I think being around the kids full time and trying to keep up with the house will be pretty stressful as well.

i'm hoping someday soon I can get Kelly to give me some pics she took at the Homecoming dance...her first HighSchool formal dance...but she went stag...but still...I want to see the pics...the theme was Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and she went with a group of her friends (who also came to her birthday party).

Oh did I mention that she broke my card reader on my laptop? That's why I haven't been uploading pics (that and a lack of time!) I have to get my old HP Printer out that has a card reader...

Oh yeah, and we are also still trying to finalize her room...we have to get some insuilation done in there, some patchwork on areas that were water damaged...but we managed to get all the wallpaper down, the room fumigated and everyting in there cleaned, washed and certified bed bug free!!

Well, I've gone on long enough here for tonight...since Tyler won't be going to school tomorrow I should have time to get my throwback picture up pretty quick...thank goodness for my scanner!! LOL

2 days?

Since I blogged here? Wow, well -- it's been busy.

The kids are still home on spring break and we had some errands to run and some therapies to deal with. Andrew and I are looking into acupuncture for stress relief/smoking cessation/fertility. We were hoping to do the initial appointment this past week, but it just didn't fit into our budget / time constraints. I am happy to announce that I have been smoke free for a full 24 hours now! - - and haven't even started the acupuncture so I think this time it might just work!! That would be so awesome! Now I haven't tried driving yet though...that's gotta be one of the hardest times for me....

To keep myself busy and not smoking today I worked on painting the kitchen. I painted it that sunflower yellow (well, that's the color it was SUPPOSED to be) and it was a dark orange type of color instead...so I decided that was too dark for a kitchen and repainted it bone and green...
(excuse the messy kitchen)

I went and had my annual physical on Thursday. So far all my tests are coming back healthy...Just waiting on the A1C (glucose tests) and the TSH (thyroid function).

Let's see... Zac's doing well at learning sign--and even trying to speak some words. He goes in Friday for his tubes and to have his adenoids removed. He has to go in on Tuesday for a physical before having his surgery. We have our typical schedule of errands and therapies Monday through Thursday--so we're up for another busy week..I still hope we can find time to fit in some acupuncture and if not that at least some time at the YMCA for some exercise.

Speaking of which my Wii broke!! We went to do our Wii Fit test for the day and it froze up!? I had to send it in to Nintendo - at least it's under warranty so it's not costing me anything! So I've been trying to remember some of the 'simpler' yoga exercises and do them when no one's looking :) ... they look at you strange around here if you're doing yoga for "no reason" ROFL

Robert's getting more excited about trying to get into the Culinary Arts program at Warren Tech, so that's yet another thing I should add to my schedule for next week...I know the following week they will be going out there with the school on a tour of WT...I'd like to take him out there myself sometime before then though.

Kelly's been...a teenaged daughter...about ready to drive me up the walls with texting and friends and going places and doing things...but I like her to stay busy...which has been keeping us busy and on our toes.

Harley ... well he didn't get respite today after all - Scott was sick. They opened a new Jumpstreet (indoor trampoline park) in our neighborhood and Harley's been wanting to go there so maybe next week he can do that with Scott. Tyler was more impressed with the video games than being interested in the jumping castles and trampolines...maybe one of these days I'll take him there after naptime? (or maybe even before naptime?!)

Tyler is refusing to potty train. I am having a hard time with this kid when it comes to him doing things that aren't his idea. I'm hoping that if we can figure time in our schedule to hit the Y on a regular basis, he can start going to Child Watch and get some socialization. We took him to a McD's playplace for the first time in over a year on Thursday and he really enjoyed chasing and talking to other kids his age...he even helped a few "smaller" toddlers and told them they were "so Cute"...I can't believe he's almost 3 years old already! He'll be running off to catch the bus for school in no time :(

Andrew - well he's rearranged his work schedule so that he has Thursday and Friday off until 10:30 pm now...which gives him two mornings a week he can sleep for more than 4 hours before he has to get up for his next shift...And all day to spend with us -- doing projects or having fun or running errands or any of the other millions of things we do in a week. He's getting ready to go in for another cortisone shot on his knee...Oh and he lost a filling out of his tooth while eating yesterday! Of course, he doesn't have dental insurance either...*sigh*...

So yeah, that and my Ex is being a big ol' butthead....Basically he won't sign the papers to make the custody change legal so I'm gonna have to go the hard way. He "doesn't want to have to pay me to raise my own children" by paying child support so now he won't even give me an address to send the papers to. It's obvious that he's gonna lose either way so I don't know why he won't just make it easy on the both of us...He hasn't even given me his email address...I don't want to put TMI here so I'll leave it at that...

Today's the BIG day!!

The kids move in permanently today!! Yahoo!!

I have so many things going on...I'll have to come back and blog about it sometime...I have NINE teens coming over tonight too so I've got some work to do (and some paper plates to buy!) before they all call to get the ride "home"...

Man oh man, I know it won't be easy, but I'm really looking forward to the day when everyone's settled in!

Moving....

Things are hectic with ex moving out of town THIS Friday!! Thursday Andrew has to go to ExDH and get a bunch of the kids' furniture, beds, etc. In the meantime, we're still trying to get things re-re-organized in the basement to build a separate room and have to get a couple of heater ducts installed as well.

The kids are throwing a big party on Friday...well it's supposed to be at their dad's -- they invited all their friends (at his coaxing) to "help him put things in the truck"...hehe...he's never managed a group of 8 teens before !! Muwwwaaahhhhahaha (sorry that's mean!)

Ends up he 'bribed' them with pizza...then he asks Kelly "will two pizza's be enough for you and your friends?" -- She laughed -- and then called me....

So all of these friends are coming over here (since I get to provide transportation either home from ExDH for all of the teens who can't drive!)...Good thing we have two vans now and can carry up to 14 people!!

Now they tell me that they are treating it as a goodbye, good riddance party for Kenny (in my basement?!?)....

I figure it will keep their minds off of things. Neither are willing to admit it, but I think that they are feeling...what's the word?....Abandoned?? I mean their dad gave them less than 3 weeks notice he would be moving out of the state and out of their lives? Did he really believe that they would want to leave all their friends, school, siblings and go to another state with him in 18 days notice? We've had some lashing out times, but I really think they are stressing over it...

BUT I get to have my fun!! IF the weather is warm enough on Saturday morning, they get to go to the St. Patricks' Day parade...and they are all fine with that and looking forward to it....

Sounds like so much fun! I can't wait.

But Andrew is home and O time is around the corner so I'm leaving now! Be back sometime tomorrow to finish my bloggin'

*ding ding* round two!

Yesterday Andrew was supposed to go to K's house and move a bunch of the kids' stuff over here...well, K flaked so now Andrew's gotta do it today. I was hoping to take Harley, Tyler and Zachary over to the park near their house and let them spend some time with Robert and Kelly since they won't be coming to my house this weekend....The last weekend they have to spend with their dad!! They were both beaming huge smiles when they left for school on Friday...saying "see you Monday" and "YEA! this is the last weekend we have to spend with dad!!"

BUT

Harley was sick earlier this week...his fever is gone but now he's developed this AWFUL cough! Tyler's got it too...and now Zachary too! I was up so many times last night...not because they were crying, coughing or even awake, but because I had to keep getting up to check on them to make sure they were all breathing...even Harley!! I hate when my boys are sick!!

The Washing of the Hands

This is actually a post about Kelly...and her dad moving.

On Friday we have to go and move the kids' stuff from there to here. When we were asking Kelly about what she wants to take (her dad wants us to take all of her bedroom furniture)...she said she wants NOTHING!! She wants no reminders of her dad at all...I think this is so sad. She said she is bringning one bag of clothes but that's all she wants to bring...

She is completely washing her hands of all things 'daddy'. She reminds us at least once a month that she would much rather have (and refer) to Andrew as her real dad because he's been the best real dad she's ever known.

Back on routine

Yay!! Harley's going to school today. I had an awful day yesterday...he and Tyler fight CONSTANTLY! Push each other's buttons...

I am so happy he's off to school!

I got to talk to Robert & Kelly about their dad moving yesterday. Kelly is super excited!! She said why's he gotta wait till the 13th, I'd rather him just go now!! Robert....he's not sure how he's feeling...He said he went and talked to his guidance counselor about it. He said he'd like to go and visit over the summer but he's not interested in living there. I think he's gonna take it the hardest. The biggest concern he had was whether or not he'd be allowed to bring his computer and PS2 from dad's...

It's supposed to be a nice day today so I hope I can get the boys out for a walk. I need some time away...

Oh and I left FOUR voicemails yesterday AGAIN since no one actually ANSWERS their phone and STILL have no word on the committee's decision regarding Harley's placement for next year. I am soo sooo frustrated with these people....I mean if they don't have an answer, they could at least make a 2 minute call to tell me that...If he was denied the least they could do is let me know so I have enough time to advocate before next school year starts...

On a side note: I think it's funny how so many more people visit my blog when it's testing time. There is another blog for that now. No more test results will be posted on this blog unless by some miracle I get a bfp in the next two months.

How do we change the clock??

Today Harley is upset because Robert and Kelly were originally supposed to come back last night. Since they didn’t, we called my ex-husband and he said they would be home by 6pm on Sunday (today). After many tears and screams of ‘pain’ he accepted it and finally went to bed at 1:00 am. When he got up at 6am today he was so excited! It’s 6 o’clock!!? No, sorry son – it’s 6 o’clock at night they are coming back. . . after dinner! So needless to say I have only 8 ½ more hours of him asking every five minutes – when will 6 o’clock be here? At least I can give him a straight answer on this one – counting down the hours! I’m gonna go crazy if he doesn’t stop asking every five minutes. At least it gives him practice telling time. . . every time he asks me when will 6:00 be here, I ask him “well what time is it now?”. He’s determined that if he can just reach the wall clock and change the dial 6:00 will get here faster! And as I was typing this, he did just that!! GRRRRHHH! He proudly announced to me that it's 6:00, let's go! Hey, it's a good sign he knows how to tell time, he actually set the clock correctly!!
