Robert plead guilty and asked for a diversion program (which is more expensive than just paying a fine but I think he'll learn more from it)...so we now have a meeting with probation on 2/17 and then go back to court on 3/2 to find out the total fees/fines, etc. This way if he completes the diversion program the conviction will be completely erased off his record. From the sound of it she (the judge) will agree to anger management and Mental health treatment both. Now the real fun begins...he has his first appt with the 'adult' mental health counselor and a med intake on the 10th. So today's activity ended in at least 3 more appts this month...so far I think I have 4 days open on my calendar...I really need to start feeling better and drive!
The meeting for Harley is today. Originally the spec ed director called me and said she wanted to review his behavior plan...well today I called to "confirm" date, time and location (I also told her I would not be available by phone from 1:30 to 4:00 or so)...she calls me at 1:40 (of course it went to voice mail) and says she's going to instill a "safety plan"...not sure what that consists of but kind of worries me that she dropped that on me at the last minute and I didn't even have time to contact ARC about it...GRH! I think they are going to try to make it so that he's hauled off by the police (a substation is across the street from his school) if he has an aggressive behavior. That is what I want to avoid...I am just so annoyed she decided to drop this on me at the last minute (I know this had to have been part of the original plan)...
(sorry to those on BBC for the C&P...it's easier than retyping it when I need to say the same thing)
