Before these get too old, these are the notes that were in Harley's back and forth book the last two days:
Talked to him self quite a bit 10:30am about worm holes.
11:00 pacing back and forth. barked like a puppy
11:10 pacing
Took a drink at every water fountain all the way down the hallway
9:15 he is in the lab. Has been in lab all week during specials. Gym they are square dancing and he didn't want to be in the gym. Talking to himself again today. I have been asking all week to tell me what he was talking about and he said Zula Patrol. He has been up frequently today as before and gets a drink every hour or less.
I can't wait for his IEP -- which is a week from today. We are supposed to have a placement decision by then. If not, I think I'm gonna lose my mind....
In the meantime, I have to get to work on Robert's stuff. He was supposed to start Wareen Tech this year, but his dad (being the great motivator he is) never followed through and kind of "discouraged" it in reminding Robert how much work it's gonna be and how hard it will be!! Stupid ass!! At least we can make arrangements to go there sometime this month or next and have him pick the program he wants to attend so that he can begin next year. It will extend his high school career by one year, but that's ok....we also found out that one of his friends who came over last weekend attends Warren Tech (it's a VoTech program)...and the neighbor boy who lives behind us wants to start going next year as well for the Culinary Arts program (he's been coming over every day after school since they all walk past our house on the way from the bus stop!).
I think Kelly's pretty popular...we're having all sorts of guys stopping by...They all know she's "attached" to Troy, but that doesn't stop them from wanting to hang out with her....Funny (but not) Andrew says he remembers high school and in a boy's mind...all they are doing is lining up so that if it goes sour with Troy she still has a "pick" so they are all vying for position. LOL...
Zachary's finally starting to walk more...more than just sideways and one or two steps at a time...He now climbs on everything...doesn't help that Tyler likes to climb to high spaces to "escape"....Last night I caught Zachary up on the coffee table. I asked Kelly who put him there...well no one, he climbed up there all on his own!! OMG Am I gonna have my hands full!! I can't wait till the weather is warmer every single day and we can start eating breakfast outside...hopefully that will encourage better, longer naps!!??
Today it was so cute, Zachary was playing with the pots and pans...singing, dancing and playing music...Tyler started singing along and dancing with him...I know when Zachary's more stable on his feet these guys are gonna be great friends!!
