I spent the morning (until 10 AM) playing with my little boys...It was just the medicine I needed to heal my mind and spirit!!
When 10 am rolled around, it was time to start running my errands... Everything went so well!! I was able to get in and out from dropping off the paperwork and copying it. All the tellers at the credit union had been replaced so I had a little more work to do there (the old tellers even have my account number memorized)...I guess I'm just a little autistic...I don't take well to change, but this was ok...just a little depressing as everyone in the bank used to say hi and talk to me...now I know no one....:(
Finally finished all my stuff about 11:30 and made it home!! Zachary will no longer nap in the van, so I laid him down as soon as I got his pants changed...Tyler had fallen asleep in his carseat about 5 blocks before we got home. I tried to carry him directly to his bed, but that didn't work, he woke up as soon as I unstrapped his carseat...so he decided he didn't want to take a nap...and he didn't want Zachary to take a nap either. I left them in their room for about an hour and couldn't take it anymore...so neither child got more than 1/2 an hour of a nap (Zachary typically naps for 2-3 hours now and Tyler typically naps for 1-1 1/2 hours). OK, I need to mentally prepare myself for some grumpy kids!!
The older kids get home from school and lo and behold, we have an extra teenager...he's a wild one!! Not too thrilled so I set down the rules...if he gets out of hand I will drive him home...I don't care if it's midnight or 2 am, he's going home if he gives me any problems this time! Of course this is a kid that Kelly can't stand...so she wants to invite someone over...Sure...Jenna comes...Then the boys want Troy to come over...I'm fine with that because he keeps them in line and keeps them from living and breathing yugioh!
Since OT was coming today...and it's her day off...I offered for her to bring her daughters. I figured it would be good for Harley...let's see how his social skills are developing...so I made some cupcakes for them to work on decorating together...I used these cute little foil liners that were shaped like eggs in the thought that we could turn them upside down and make skulls for Halloween....They decided they'd rather use them as eggs...that's ok...They arrived, Harley greeted them appropriately and then promptly disappeared as he likes other people, but doesn't like being around them for more than 5 minutes. We coaxed him back out and he did his decorating...he didn't have much for conversation, but hey, the stayed in the same room for nearly 30 mintues...that's quite an accomplishment in itself!! YAY HARLEY!!
And for another update...a faint line still on the opk...barely visible, but more visible than yesterday...and now I'm down to 2 opks left...crap!!
The respite provider wants to reschedule Harley for Saturday instead of Sunday...I can't seem to get through his head that Harley will not deal well with the change in routine...but he's insisting!! GRH! I wish he would understand!!
Well, there's more but that's all I have time for right now...Saturday's gotta be better right?
