And Harley is so excited! He got up this morning and as I was putting on his camp shirt, he got mad at me and said "NO It's TUESDAY! I go to school today!". After arguing with him (he pulled his shirt off, I put it on, he pulled it off, and this game continued) so I finally took him to the calendar and showed him today is #5 and school starts on #12...he got mad at the calendar and yelled, scratched and clawed at it...but accepted it and decided it would be ok to go to camp, especially since they are going to the Downtown Aquarium.
For OT this evening, he's decided he will write his whole name, FOUR sentences (we have slowly been increasing the number of sentences each week)...and as his 'reward' he will get to cook up some Rainbow Trout (I HATE the smell of fish...especially in the house! but our BBQ grill broke -- teenagers!! Being too rough...*sigh*...that's what I get for having four teens here for nearly a week straight -- with two of them not being used to having a yard to mess around in!)
Anyway I got way off track there...
I'm so glad one of my children are happy to go to school this year.... Kelly's not too thriled about starting in high school this year...the older kids scared her into thinking that Freshman are tortured!! Robert's a little worried because he's a junior this year...that means one more year and he has to be ready for the world...and he's just not ready for that yet...I've told him not to worry about that right now, just PASS his classes this year so we won't have to double up next year...But I think he's trying to 5 or 6 year plan in high school *sigh* :(
