I just wanted to get the not a happy post off the top of the page, so here I am...
I got a few pics of fireworks last night, but they didn't turn out too well. I was able to keep Tyler up till about 9:15 so his missed the really big ones but it was cool to hear him say "Oh fireworks" everytime he saw anything fly up into the air...then he'd follow that with "where the airplanes?" (yes, every single time). Zac slept through all of it. Harley and I sat outside and watched till about 10:15 then he decided he wanted to be done and came inside. At midnight he came to me and asked if the fireworks were over because he wanted to 'finish' watching them. (They were over BTW)...I finally went to bed about 1:00 and Andrew got home about 1:30...And then at 4 AM we discovered...
Harley had broke the lock on the refrigerator so today we will have to head out and get a new lock. I think this time, we will get a bicycle lock with a combination so he can't find the key (or hide the key). Thankfully we caught him (yes, at 4 AM) trying to eat
2 packages of Cool whip (ate about 1/4 of one bowl)
a box of graham crackers (ate one package in the box)
an 8 oz block of cheese (ate a few bites)
a 1/4 pound of deli ham (ate all of it)
a loaf of italian bread (ate all of it)
A jar of peanut butter (only ate about 1/4 of the jar)
a box of whoppers (didn't get it open)
a box of snowcaps (ate the whole thing)
a row of saltine crackers (ate all but 5)
So I'm expecitng him to be sick once he does get up....I've gotta find out if it's ok to put him on an appetite suppressant...The problem is I don't think he's eating because he's hungry...He's just eating.
I thought I was smart as he was up at 11:30 trying to unlock the refrigerator lock, so I gave him a yogurt and told him that would be a good snack...(I know at 11:30? but I thought maybe it would stop him for raiding the food stores). I left a bunch of fruit and veggies out on the counter thinking ... OK, well if he gets hungry and the refrigerator is locked maybe he will eat what's available! I figured totally wrong.
But this is a new day and I'm hoping to not be as teary as yesterday. My too-early- to-be-pregnancy symptoms are continuing...My little boys are up and it's now time to close this entry and get on with my day. I know they will make me smile becuase they always do...
