We went out and did the river walk in Golden today. After the last fiasco with my camera and water, I didn't take any pictures this time :) ... BUT the good news is my camera has dried out and works as well as ever haha!
On the way home the kids wanted to stop at the A&W Root Beer place and get some Root Beer floats. After seeing the price (a small for $2.70) yikes! times 4 children? OK, instead we'll stop by the grocery store and buy a BIG bucket of ice cream and some root beer and spend less and have more!
We get home, the refrigerator is still locked. The ice cream is already melting...Andrew was the last one to have the key...we searched high, low, up, down and even asked Harley (since he tells on himself!) if he had taken them and where he put them.
We searched the van..front, back, trunk..no luck...
Andrew had just pulled out the saw to saw the lock off the fridge (OH NO! I won't be able to sleep with no lock on the fridge!??)...And I asked if he checked his wallet...
Lo and behold...the key was in his wallet! GRH! At least I thought of it before he actually CUT the damned lock!!
So now the ice cream is in the freezer waiting for it to re-solidify so we can make root beer floats...
