When I was young....

Sunday was a day for rest...Not so around here in my nearly 40 year old life! Today I am working on cleaning the ceiling in the kitchen. Sadly, I missed this when I was doing spring cleaning...I can't believe how nasty it is...I'm hoping to paint our kitchen yellow and green (country style!) but that's probably a year or two away. We are rearrnaging the basement furniture (again) in anticipation of our next project -- the basement will get a ceiling and the interior walls installed. We'll even (finally) have a wall and door between Robert's room and the laundry room instead of just an open space!! We still have to do the weed whacking and the mowing -- the drawbacks to having such a large front and back yard!

I got the upstairs bathroom cleaned (again)...if only Harley would sit on the toilet correctly, I wouldn't have such a smelly mess to clean up every (other) day -- I should do it everyday, but time's usually in a crunch.

Robert comes home today! The first time in over a week! I just hope he doesn't think we're gonna let him be a total video game junkie...He tried that last weekend...Decided he was going to hide out in the basement and have a BAD attitude whenever he came upstairs...I wish he wanted to be part of the family, but last weekend he told me he'd really rather be at K's because I have too many expectations and there's too many people here. He wishes he was an only child...This makes me very sad, but ya know he's had a sister since he was 16 months old...Now that he's 16 (and a half) there's nothing that can be done about that. I'm afraid that his dad has ruined him to the point that he'd rather be a loner.

And then we have Kelly...totally opposite of Robert...She gets to come home today too...till Friday night...It sucks that she won't be with us for the fourth of July! I'm sad about that too...

Oh and I do believe I'm in the 2ww, I hope I won't be a crazy bitch like I was last month :( -- I'm not feeling real confident even though we managed to get the timing (and release) just right...Maybe that will stop me from testing and it will end in a BBFP (Beautiful Big Fat Positive!)?

Well, back to chores while Zac's napping...
