We went to the grocery store yesterday and got $58 in food...Well, I was just looking in our check book and realized that Andrew never gave the cashier the check!! There it is, all filled out and signed and ready...but still in the checkbook!? I just doubled checked the receipt as I don't see how they let us out of the store without paying for our purchase and it shows we paid....The check isn't franked so it's not like Walmart where they run the check electronically and then give it back to you....In fact the check is still attached...The receipt shows we paid cash --
So is this gonna give me bad karma? Do I go back to the store today and give them the check?
See, I was busy with Tyler and Harley...we cashed in the household pennies yesterday...it was a little "event" to keep them busy yesterday...searching for all the pennies they could find...We ended up with $19.78 in pennies (after the 8.3% fee for the machine counting them)...Man, that's A LOT of pennies!!
I think maybe today we'll load the cans into the van and have the kids put them into the can counting machine...that will waste a good hour or two today.
