Today's a day I'm not looking forward to...Harley has some major dental work happening today. I worked on a social story and we read it but it didn't seem to help at all...the thought that he's getting a tooth pulled is NOT ok with him! He's also getting 2 fillings, a cleaning and a full set of mouth x-rays (which has never been done on him before). We are sedating him for this...Last time we sedated him he was so 'drunk like' he could barely walk...This time I'm giving him a whole tablet. They won't be able to use the gas on him because he's on the sedatives so hopefully he'll just be two sheets to the wind and not even notice. My biggest concern is once the novicaine (or whatever) wears off and trying to have him keep the gauze on the area where the tooth was pulled. I fully expect he will get dry socket -- he's always got something in his mouth....
Tyler has a dentists appointment at the same time, just for his annual checkup/cleaning. Thankfully Andrew has lunch AND dinner hour off today (supposed to be like this every week from this point on). So I'll deal with Harley and he'll deal with Tyler and Zachary.
