You mean to tell me it's STILL not over?!

Alright...I admit it...I'm a control freak...everything needs to fall into place the way I want it to...that is not happening and I am so frustrated I am ready to just scream!!

First off the principal from Harley's school called and AGAIN tried to 'convince us' that Harley should attend for at least part of the day...*sigh* just what is it they don't get...? What is the definition of the word NO?! I mean come on...you people are college educated and STILL you don't know the meaning of the word NO? WTF?

Then, I've had EVERY single excuse in the book thrown at me as to why my van door is still sitting in the trunk of the van and NOT ON the van!! OK, I let him have it now...there is one slight variation (the bar at the top of the door has a little bit more of an angle than our van door)...well we had 3 days to return the 'replacement' door if it didn't work...Tomorrow is the end of the 3rd day. The junk yard is only open till 1:00...Andrew's got a client from 7-10:30 tomorrow, then we have to go and get our diapers and my grant writing assignment from the church...they don't allow anyone under 16 in the yard either (at the junk yard)...so we are SCREWED!! $80 down the drain if this door doesn't work! Yes, I am frustrated!!

Then Kelly wants to go to the movies with Jenna...She owes me 9 hours of babysitting a month to pay for her cell phone bill...she has a friend coming over to spend the night tonight...Every night this month that she's been here she's either gone out and about or had a friend over...and she knows that I won't expect her to babysit if she has friends over (unless I am preparing the meal for the crew--and that doesn't count towards the 9 hrs a month). She also wants me to give her $10 for her Japanese class so that she can have dinner with the teacher and then another $10-15 for the movie...ok, she's now up to $65 for the month when you include her cell phone bill.

Zachary needs to go for his one year well baby check...I REFUSE to make the appointment till the van is fixed...made sure Andrew was aware of that too...I know, I know, he's 13 months old but we were waiting on the results of the evaluation to take back to the one year visit with us and that had to be rescheduled twice because he was sick!!

Oh and WIC...Already missed one WIC appointment because of the van door being broken...Already rescheduled it...which was not easy because they want him to see the dietician because he is 'underweight'...last time they weighed him he had just gotten over having the stomach flu but of course this is "proceducre" for them....GRRH!

Tyler is doing an awesome job working on potty training...I am soo sooo proud of him!! But of course, dad took him potty today and when he had a fit because it was daddy helping him instead of mommy, daddy yelled at him and told him he would spank his butt....so now Tyler is attached to mommy like velcro...great!!

Robert's IEP meeting went tremendously well earlier this week!! Of course, I have to go to votech with him on Wednesday night if I can get his dad to agree to let him stay with me to do so. I'm not sure how I'm going to do that when I won't even arrive home from picking up Harley from therapy till 6:30 and the open house ends at 8 and it's at least a 1/2 hour drive (and I have to pack up the kids too?! -- and feed them!?)

Anyway, Robert's ESS teacher is the most awesome man....He's taken Robert under his wing and Robert is blossoming...as we talked with the teacher for over an hour...he told us he was so impressed with our advocacy skills and that we should really consider becoming a parent mentor for others who are 'learning the ropes"...I went on to explain that I currently have 3 charges going for that...one from Peak parent center, one from Kaiser Special Needs Nurse and one from DDRC. I think my plate is full right now. I have not been invited to attend any of their meetings, but I do advise with them via the phone and email...that's about my limit at this point!

He also told us that we have a great sense of humor and need to write a book about our experiences...He said he's buy it and read it...he thinks we are the most interesting family he's run across in a long time who has maintained a good attitude...

just what do you think he would think of me if he could see me going off right now? LOL

I think I'm going to take a load off my back, hips and feet a lay down for a little bit. Andrew is going to do my grocery shopping for me...I took Zac, Tyler and Harley for a walk and Zac is out cold...hopefully Tyler and Harley can get along well enough to let me rest for a little while because when Andrew gets home and Kelly and Robert are home from school guess what??? I am going to put the damned door on the van if I have to do it by myself!! Then maybe I can talk Andrew into some ttc work too?! LOL I tell ya my mind never stops running!

Whew, Told ya I had a lot more to blog about!!
