The weather didn't want to cooperate for us to go to the Zoo...
The weather started to clear in the late morning hours, so we made an alternative plan to go to the Corn Maze and Pumpkin Festival....We tried on costumes....

Harley's always got to 'customize' his costume....
Tyler wouldn't even try his on (we were planning on him dressing as cookie monster!)
But since Mother Nature decided to start DUMPING a hard rain just as we went to leave, we changed our plans again (and I must point out that Harley was ok with it!! Everything that we had scheduled as a backup plan is a preferred activity for him anyhow). We went to the recreation center...first we stopped at the indoor play area where Zachary ran into a couple of little girls (twins) who were celebrating their first birthday (I didn't want to take pictures of her little girls and post them here -- but that's what's got him so perplexed / concerned)....
Then we headed to the pool...since mom is the official family picture taker (notice I don't call myself a photographer?) I didn't get any pictures of me with my boys...

I took turns with Tyler, Zachary and Harley and spent a half hour of one on one time with each of them...it was just what I needed! (and them too!)...Then I passed off Zachary to Kelly so I could get a couple of pictures....Zachary ADORES Harley....and Kelly is the most amazing sister!

We spent three hours at the pool...We stopped and treated ourselves to dinner at the Chinese place we like to frequent (and the owner doubled our order just because we brought Harley in this time...She loves Harley and predicted when he was only 18 months old that he would make us weatlthy...and that he has! He has made us weatlthy with knowledge and patience!)

The boys were exhausted when we got home...and mom couldn't sleep so I was up till 1:00 playing the Wii....And I must say I'm getting good...if only I was REALLY 23 years old! :)
I can't wait to get my hands on a Wii Fit!!

What a fun day! And I must say that Kelly and Troy (Kelly's boyfriend? Friend?) seem like such great teens! I could use one or two in my life. Can I borrow them?! :)
