Tyler has decided (with my help of course) that he no longer needs naps...Boo!!! That means mom won't get naps anymore either :(
Last night this child up in the wee hours of the morning - I'm talking like 1:00 AM (and no I was not happy and did not get pictures! :) ) He climbs out of his portable crib, yet he won't sleep in his toddler bed...
So today we put his crib back up...you wouldn't believe the excitement he had when he saw "Tyler's bed!" I am determined to get some good sleep tonight....
I thought they cut a nap out of their schedule much later than 28 months, but maybe not? Or maybe it's just because Tyler is my WILD CHILD!!
I sure have my hands full just with this one toddler...Even the pediatrician seems to think so...I can't wait to get him into Headstart Preschool next fall...
He really needs a role model other than Harley (what 2 year old doesn't look up to his big brother and try to act just like him???!) Oh Tyler so needs to be around typically developing peers...I wish there was some sort of group that he and Zachary could go to that wasn't associated with a church group....or that we could afford...I've already talked to Harley's caseworker and she said we may be able to use our family support funds to pay for a part time day program for Tyler, but they will only pay up to $750....I have got to figure out something!

We had a 2-year-old playgroup at the childcare center I used to work at. Maybe you could call some local daycare centers and see if they have anything like that. I think our price was about $120/month and it was 2x a week...
