As of October 29th of this year, it has been 10 years since Andrew's knee surgery. They told us that the knee replacement they did would last about 10 years...well...so far that's proven to be correct! He's had pain on and off for years because they botched the surgery to begin with...he never really got back to 100% (or even 80%) after the surgery because of the complications.
So it appears we'll be looking at him having surgery soon. Now if only he had listened to me earlier...The health insurance changes as of October 1st...Instead of a $100 copay for the surgery we will have to pay 20% coinsurance...so we had a discussion (kinda) and if the doctor suggests he have his knee replaced again and if no bfp this month we may just have to stop trying...the coinsurance for a knee surgery AND delivery of a baby all in one year will be just too much stress financially. So I should probably just cancel the appointment with my OB on the 23rd to discuss ttc as it will probably depress me further...
Saturday's opk update--Finally, heading towards positive! Should be today, so I'll be testing around the 18th if his knee holds up well enough to dtd that is....LOL
Oh but please send me your baby dust...I'm feeling pretty down...FOUR more bfps month already from my board mates...It's so hard to watch, but I am so excited for them too...I guess you could call it bittersweet. But somehow I feel like all the bfp juice has been used up already this month and I'm already out....
I hope I can come back later with some pics of the boys I've taken over the last couple of days.
