Zac cut not only his fourth, but also his FIFTH tooth! If you look closely you'll see three on top and two on the bottom
Harley started getting his Rachel Ray Everyday Magazines (I got his a subscription, so he got two this time in the mail...addressed to him!!). We've made one recipe already...Lemom Lime Slushies...Oh there's a recipe in there for some Rice Pudding Slushees too! OMG! I can't wait to make that one!!
Tyler and I made a couple of cakes...then Harley and I decorated them. We got a new cake decorating set that has 10 different tips...so we went to town. I didn't get any pictures of it because I was busy running out the door for court...but Harley has introduced me to cake decorating and I think I've found a new hobby...great...just what the kids need....cake?! (I don't eat it because I'm just not a sweets eater).
My traffic ticket...remember that? I went to court on Thursday night. My fine was reduced from 180 to 72.50 -- but the best part is that I got it reduced to 0 points. That makes me even happier!!
I made my first meal with tofu. None of the kids (except Harley) knew it was tofu. I thought this was a strange request, but Harley wanted me to cook it...Of course I had no idea how or what to cook with tofu...Thank goodness for AllRecipes.com! There was a recipe there for quick and easy tofu lo mein. Ready in about 15 minutes!
Thursday we had our meeting with Rachel and Amanda for Harley's recertification. It went well...we've added a few things to our plan...the plan just gets more costly every year...and here so many people are telling me that he's improving...(he had his first public meltdown with Scott last week LOL! -- Honeymoon's OVER!! for Scott).
Harley didn't have school Thursday and Friday. Thursday the bus arrived so I ran out to the bus to tell them Harley didn't have school...and in the process fell down and skinned my knee and sprained my ankle and wrist...it's healing, but I was NOT having a good day as it was....I came back in to finish loading the dishwasher and dropped a glass--of course it shattered all over the floor, so I'm trying to clean it up while keeping Harley & Tyler out of it. I told Tyler we would go do laundry and while I was trying to clean up the broken glass, he decided to try to go downstairs THROUGH the gate!! Thankfully he was wearing a shirt and I got there in the nick of time to catch him by the shirt before he plunged head first down the stairs!! I lost it and spanked his butt because he knows better, but also because at that point I was at my wit's end...I am not typically a spanker, so I beat myself up over it all day long...
