Our tubing trip...a slide show follows...Yes, I DID get on a tube and ride the river this time...
It was touch and go for a while. We had a major thunderstorm about 1:00, but by 2:00 it was hot, sunny and dry so we decided to go for it anyhow. (Crazy Colorado Weather!). We packed up the van and Scott's car and off we went...
Like I said I did get a chance to ride a tube down the river. I fell off the tube, scraped my butt on a rock (I'll spare you a pic of that LOL), scraped my knuckles on one hand and lost a shoe...but it was the most wonderful time! I got a chance to spend a few minutes alone with my sweet dear husband having fun! It's been too long since we did that.
Troy is Kelly's knight in shining armor...he takes such good care of her and keeps her safe. It is so touching to see a teenaged boy that still practices chivilary!
Jenna's hoping that someday, Robert will come around and be her knight!
Harley actually went in a tube with Scott today...it was great...
I think the thing I enjoyed most of the day was all the smiles, laughs and giggles from the children (and adults too)...everyone had fun...It was quite the end to summer vacation this year!
