Last night Harley wet his bed again, not sure what this is about. (Have I mentioned that he won't allow sheets on his mattress? I've even gotten those 'pocket' sheets that zip and completely enclosue the mattress and he still manages to pull them off!).
This morning after taking meds and eating a banana, he threw up--he kept running back and forth over the carpet instead of getting to the bathroom or trash can!) So I had like 5 spots on the carpet and two spots on the kitchen floor. He later told me that he found a wet spot on the couch (a baby bottle was hidden under a blaket --Thanks Tyler...he loves to hide the baby's bottles!) And Harley sat in a wet spot and his sensory system took over from there! UGH!
Well, I was planning to clean carpets yesterday, but my carpet cleaner had sprung a leak...I have a back up carpet cleaner, but it was buried in the place we call a garage...
So I got to work and got that carpet cleaner out. Did you know that shaving cream is a great pretreater for any kinds of stains in the carpet? It worked on grape juice, coffee, and puke...
My carpets are now clean again!
Oh and Scott came by for respite today...I warned him of Harley's behavior when we spoke the night before. Needless to say, Harley was hallucinating hard when Scott showed up and kept refusing to go anywhere because he was saying someone was following him and would kill everyone anywhere he went...I even offered to let him go to see Wall E, which he's been wanting to see, but he didn't even want to do that -- We had some pretty intense behaviors today but we'll get through it. I'm just overly emotional after the letter I got from his OT yesterday. More on that another day...
Zac was in the pool and ya know me, I was taking pictures...my camera fell into the pool and bubbled as it filled with water...As soon as I dropped it Zac leaned over to pick it up (he loves to take the camera from me!) and fell over so I had to take care of him first...Well, there went my camera...I have a back up or two, but they're not nearly as nice so far as quality...
Oh and what was I taking pictures of? Zac's first water balloon experience...
I think that makes for quite a day...So now I'm signing off and maybe I'll even turn in early tonight...I think I deserve it
