Another Great quick recipe--with Chicken

In an effort to make some new things for the family instead of the same ol' same ol' and using what's on sale or what's GOTTA be eaten in our house...here's another recipe...Julie...You're gonna love this one...Darn, no substitutions but I'm sure you could think of some ;) -- total price to make these today? About $3.75!! I'm so proud of me!!

Here's a pic of the finished product, sorry I didn't think of taking a picture of the 'full presentation' with veggies and all...

Crescent Chicken Bundles
prep time about 10 mins
cook time 20 mins...ready in 30 MINS!!

2 Chicken breasts, cooked and cubed -- (OK Julie, I lied, I substituted chicken thighs LOL)
A package of cream cheese
2 tbsp butter
2 cans of crescent rolls *unless you can make your own pastry type thingys...
onion (we never use onion, but some people like it that way)
Mrs. Dash -- about a tsp worth (I'm trying to cut back on salt around here!)

Mix butter, cream cheese and onion (if using) in a bowl til creamy. Add chicken and mix.

Make the crescent rolls into rectangles by pinching them at the 'triangle' sides (hope ya know what I mean)...spoon in just over a table tablespoon of the mixture and fold corner to corner with the opening ending up on top....

Cook 20 mins in 350 oven. Makes 8.

OK I may not be the greatest at giving preparation directions, but y'all are cooks so I'm sure you'd know what I mean....

Again, if you try it and like it, let me know?!
