Ahh, first official full day of summer vacation! Up at 5:30 making coffee, lunches, bottles...Out the door at 8:00 and everyone's been fed and cleaned up and dressed!! That in itself was quite the accomplishment if I do say so myself!
Off to Creative for the first day of camp...Got some pics (slide show follows)...Harley met Sara (reminds me of that movie Harry met Sally when I type that!), Kelly, Jenna, Tyler, Zac and I headed to the coffee shop to get change for the ticket machine for Kelly and Jenna to go to Elitches for the day. We buy one coffee (since I didn't bring much money and the girls were saving theirs) and share it...Tyler absconded my coffee...There's a little series, read the captions on the pics in the slideshow. When heading back to the ticket machine, we got a really cool view of Harley playing with a giant therapy ball in the little 'ampitheater' there. Tyler and Kelly joined in for a while...Then off to buy the tickets.
Returned home and Andrew and I arrived about the same time. Of course, both the little guys were asleep...so we sat in our respective vehicles and had a little conversation through the windows of our cars in the driveway...crazy huh? Some days that's about the only way I see my husband....Woke up the boys after about five minutes though...it was hot outside today....Fed Zac some lunch, made lunch for Andrew, Tyler and I (Ty wanted mac n cheese...Andrew and I had egg mcmuffins with cheese)...and the boys went down for a nap...I got on BBC and figured out how to have my blog post to my journal, but I didn't realize it would post EVERYTHING I posted here, so I may have to go back and change that!
Andrew left for his lunch client and since the boys were down, I went down too...Didn't wake up till 2:20...(the boys were awake, but Andrew was home from work and dealing with them) had to be out the door by 2:30!! OMG! Rush, Rush, Rush...out the door by 2:35...NOT BAD!
Call Kelly to make sure they're on the train on the way back to the station (where we drop off / pick up Harley anyway)...They missed the first train and are taking the next one...OOOOOK! Got Harley and took the 3 boys to the fountains while we waited for Kelly and Jenna...Harley got into a water fight with a lady...they had a blast!! (I didn't have my camera because I didn't want it getting wet). Off to drop off time sheets, pick up paychecks...back home...Amanda's waiting for us as we arrive and Scott hasn't yet arrived but will in a few minutes...Scott is the guy we were interviewing for respite. We're gonna give him a shot and are going on the first outing with him on the 13th. He and Harley seemed to enjoy 'talking' to each other and have a lot of the same interests...golfing, fishing, walking...The interview went till 6:30...feeding time at the zoo here! Leftovers tonight....
Oh, this entry has gone on so long already....I'm putting the slide show in now...
Although tomorrow is questionable. I'm on my own (at least Kelly helped me a little today!--she doesn't help as much when friends are around and I don't expect her to!)...No Kelly :( - Zac's follow up appointment tomorrow to recheck his ears and Tyler's coming along this time...and I still need to go and turn in my time sheets...Of course, all that will be done after I drop Harley off...Oh and now that it's summer time and the therapists are readjusting schedules? We have OT here tomorrow when we get home from camp...
AFM: A real, live line on my opk, not positive, but it's darkening pretty quickly...FINALLY!! YAY!
