Harley's news!

I forgot to put in a blurb about Harley too!

He's doing great with not going to Extended School Year Services this year. I think it has a lot to do with him going to Creative Perspectives full time. He went to the splashpark yesterday and refused sunscreen...guess what? He's a full blown lobster today...and they said..."well it's cloudy so ok" WHATT!?? So even though he didn't want to go to camp today at first, he changed his mind when he found out they would be indoors...

Tomorrow he gets to go to Elitches...He loves to people watch but won't step foot on one ride...It will still be fun...Maybe I'll send him with a camera and we'll see just what it is that interests him about that place?

We went with Scott on Friday on the first respite outing. Harley really enjoys him time with Scott, so this Friday they are planning a trip to the zoo. I really like that Scott is an active older man and will keep Harley interested in a variety of things...They're trying to plan a fishing trip one of these Fridays. Then they "will eat all the fish" according to Harley. He's pretty excited and I'm happy to have a respite provider who wants to be active, not sit around and watch movies all the time!

Oh, I did blog about Zac's new tooth right? Well, if you recall way back when Zac was born (LOL) Harley said he wouldn't have a brain till he has a tooth...so we talked about that yesterday...And Zac has a brain now! Yay Zac's growing up! He absolutely adores Harley, but Harley still just sits and looks at him smiling, without saying a word! Zac gets so frustrated...and that's when Harley starts saying something to him...It's cool to watch the two of them talk. Zac really loves it when he's in his jumperoo and Harley 'jumps' to show him how...he gets the greatest, biggest belly laugh. Funny, I can jump up and down and Zac doesn't think it's that funny...only when Harley does it....Hmmm....I wonder if they will be closer than Ty and Zac will be?

Oh and did you know it's full moon cycle starting tomorrow...are we prepared? No...are we ever prepared?
