We have WATER!

Have you ever watched the show Home Improvement? I should've been calling Andrew "Tim" for the last couple of days.
It all starts when he wants to start working on the basement. We're getting ready to work on finishing it...I Can't WAIT!! Till it's finished completely! Anyhow, We have to start with the 'small' leak that coming out of the main. So he goes and starts to patch it...the leak gets worse! OK, so leave it alone till you know more about what's going on...NOPE ALL day Sunday he spends on it. Now he didn't tell me he was going to have the water off all day!! He could've at least given me some buckets of water...But of course, it's "a 5 minute special right?". Well, about an hour later I hear the obscenities floating up the stairs....It's no longer a 'small' leak, but now is a spraying, gushing leak. OK, Harley and Tyler both need a bath, me, the pregnant mom needs to use the toilet. What about dinner? Can't really cook dinner without water....Can't do dishes, can't water the dog and cats, can't do the laundry...OK now this 5 minute project has put me a full day behind....So as a last resort I hop on Craigslist and put out a desperate plea for a plumber to come and look at it for little to no cost. Ends up one of our neighbors responds. So the water's off all night long Sunday and I get to try to have Harley get ready for school on Monday STILL with no water! I am losing my mind at this point because Harley won't even as much as use the toilet since he can't flush!!!

So Our Guardian Plumber comes by Monday at 8:30 am -- right after Harley left for school...After working for 3 hours come to find out that the elbow on the main leading into the house was never correctly soldered (by the previous owners). Thankfully it was a small job and by noon I had water again! I am so happy! I so take water for granted. And the best part is that Our Guardian Plumber charged us only $50!! Thanks Harvey!!
