This is a fun one that can't be put into a one-sentence format because you've got to hear it all!!
The most up to date one happened on Thursday last week! When we dropped Harley off at Creative Perspectives for his summer camp that day, he saw his FAVORITE Behavior Interventionist, Dana. He is not assigned to be with Dana and is instead supposed to go with Mike. He cried and screamed because he didn't want to go with Mike and Mike hadn't arrived yet. . . So he announced that "Mike won't be in today. . . he lost his driving powers!!" I asked if this was because he saw Dana and he said "Of Course!" So when Mike arrived, Harley began screaming and crying again and knocked me down (thankfully I was near a picnic table so it was a short fall onto my butt!--because he was upset enough I knew it would escalate into something physical). He annouced to Mike that he had lost his driving powers. . . Now Harley doesn't speak that clearly and Mike thought he said "You lost your driving palaces". . . That just made Harley madder!! So I interperted for him and he understood. So he asked Harley why he had lost his driving powers and Harley said "Because you can't drive, we have to go with Dana!!" He ended up riding with Dana while Mike took a couple of other kids! He was sooo happy!
Here's some from the 1st of July:
A wise Harley said: “Babies don’t cry for no reason, they cry because they need something”. I explained that Tyler was tired and sometimes babies his age cry because they don’t want to go to sleep, even though they need to go to sleep. So Harley further explained to me “no that’s wrong, he’s crying because he needs me!!”
A couple of weeks ago we went through an ‘episode’ where Harley accussed everyone in the house of ‘hiding’ his computer game (Arthur’s Computer Adventure) away from him. He miraculously found it and exclaimed: “So it was me that hid it away from Harley after all!!”
Here's one from June 28th that I just need some help coming up with something --
Maybe you can come up with one!! He cut all the cell phone chargers into 6” pieces. . . When asked why he said "the evil voices told Harley to do it!" NOTE: The scissors are usually locked up since he likes to cut off his eyelashes, but Robert forgot to put them away last time he used them!!
When he was complaining/whinning about his playstation not working (he gets 1 hour a day of playstation time):
Kid's don't whine, puppies and dogs do!!
When we adopted a new cat from the shelter he was already named "Evo". When we told Harley the name of the cat, his response was: "He is not evil. . . he is a cat!". . . Ok, guess we need a new name for the cat. The cat's name is Scooter. He doesn't respond to "evo" anyhow. . .
A picture of "Evo" aka SCOOTER!!

But the vacuum does make a good robot!! Of course, now we're in process of getting a new vacuum!!
Harley's been having a blast at Creative Perspectives Center for Autism's Summer Camp program. We can't trust him with the camera, but I would love to get some pictures of him doing some of the things he's been doing.
He's gone white water rafting. . .Although I was scared of what might happen to him, He LOVED IT!!
He got to go to Water World. . . Something I've never done in the 23 years I've lived here in Colorado!
He even got to go to Elitch's (Six Flags) here in Denver. He doesn't like to ride any of the rides, but loves to people watch. He was there for a full 6 hour day and rode one water ride all day!
We took him to Pirate's Cove (the water park). Things went fairly well . . . He chipped a tooth and was pretty upset, but now is so very proud of it!
He's got the next week pretty packed up for me! And he won't even be home *sigh*.
I'll be back later to post some pictures. . . I have the most wonderful picture of Tyler! He's started to ham it up for the camera and I'm just LOVING it!!
Tuesday is the BIG Day for the ultrasound!! I can't wait to find out if we're having a boy or a girl. At first I thought I wanted a surprise, but I'm not one for waiting till the last minute. I am SOOO convinced it's a girl!! Her name will be Skyler - no middle name picked out yet!
Tyler hamming it up for the camera:
